Rather than functioning as a traditional retail store, the business centers around creativity, imagination, and connection. Through handcrafted perfumes, apothecary-inspired self-care products, tabletop roleplaying events, workshops, and collaborative programming, customers are encouraged to explore identity and self-expression in ways that feel personal and empowering beyond consumerism.

At its core, Zephyr Maeleficarum challenges traditional beauty and wellness spaces that often feel exclusive or heavily gendered. Instead, I create an accessible and affirming environment where people of all identities can gather and connect with joy, creativity, and community.

About the Creator

Hey there! I’m Kitsch—Queer, neurodivergent, sporting an invisible disability, and proudly non-binary.

Zephyr Maeleficarum was created from my deep love for inclusive “third places” — welcoming spaces outside of home and work where people can gather, feel safe being themselves, and experience genuine connection, creativity, and joy. As a queer, non-binary entrepreneur, performer, certified Therapeutic Gaming facilitator, and community organizer, I understand how life-changing affirming spaces can be, especially for LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and creative individuals seeking places where they feel seen, celebrated, and at home.

From the beginning, Zephyr Maeleficarum was about more than just fragrance. I wanted to challenge the outdated binary of “perfume” vs. “cologne” and create scent experiences that speak to anyone, regardless of gender. When people ask, “Which ones are for men?” I offer them a different lens—an invitation to explore what resonates with them, not what society prescribes.

This spirit of liberation and self-expression runs through everything I make. My hope is that each bottle helps you tap into your own joy, your own story, and your own sense of self.
